We are searching for a confident and experienced candidate to join our Ethical Compliance Team. Previous experience in a lead audit role is essential. Candidates must be honest, reliable and trustworthy with an international outlook to life and business. The role will build on your experience as a Lead Auditor giving you the opportunity to work closely with and advise the factory on how best to meet the requirements of various ethical and quality standards including SA8000; Smeta; BSCi; ISO9001 and customer specific ethical and quality audits.
Job Description Reporting in to the Audits and Technical Compliance Manager. Understand specific customer social compliance requirements in order to help the factories raise their standards to successfully pass customers own audits. Make initial assessments on potential new suppliers, analyse factories performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct full quality and social compliance audits writing comprehensive audit reports. Submit evidence of issue resolution to the UK office for review and presentation to the customer. Monitor key requirements such as time and wage records throughout the year for each key factory. Update our database with reports and NCs and close off as appropriate.
